The Aguia Dourada (like Golden Eagle) was founded in 1958 by Master Mozart Souza, 9th Grade Red Belt Jiu-Jitsu and  6th Dan Judo Black Belt, in the city of Formiga-MG. *

Registered in the main national and state sports bodies of each modality, such as Jiu-Jitsu, Judo and Muay Thai.
(CBJJ, IBJJF, CBJJE, CBJJO, LBJJ, USJJF, UAEJJF, FJJ-MG, FESP, CBJ, LMJ, FMJ, CMTB, LMMT, FECAM-BR, FECAM-RS, FECAM-MG)

Master Mozart, 9th Grade Red Belt Jiu-Jitsu (CBJJP) and Black Belt 6th Dan in Judo, trained with Takeo Yano, one of the forerunners of Jiu-Jitsu in Brazil (Takeo Yano trained with Mitsuo Maeda, Conde Koma, and also with Helio Gracie, with whom he fought 2 times). He also trained with the master Jose Senador, one of Takeo Yano's students.

Fabiano Souza, Black Belt 6th Degree of Jiu-Jitsu (CBJJ, IBJJF, FJJ-MG), Black Belt 5th Dan of Judo, and Black Prajied of Muay Thai (Kru), son of Master Mozart, Aguia Dourada lately, accumulating the functions of President of FJJ-MG (Federation of Jiu-Jitsu of Minas Gerais) and FECAM-MG (Christian Federation of Martial Arts of Minas Gerais).

Sensei Fabiano was formed by Master Mozart, but also received the Black Belt from the hands of master Leo Castello Branco (Fernando Pinduka / GM Carlson Gracie).

He won several important competitions in the national and international scene, European Champion (IBJJF), World Champion (CBJJE), Brazilian Champion (CBJJE), Champion Sao Paulo State 2003 FESP, 2nd place 2002 World Champion CBJJO, Champion BH International Open 2016 (IBJJF), 8 times Champion of the State of Minas Gerais of Judo (FMJ), South American Judo Champion in Argentina.

Diploma and registered in the CBJJ, IBJJF, CBJJE, CBJJO, CBJJP, UAEJJF, USJJF, LBJJ, FJJ-MG, FESP, CBJ, LMJ, FMJ, CMTB, FECAM, LMMT.

Today the Aguia Dourada Team has associates in many cities, between states and countries (MINAS GERAIS: Formiga, Piumhi, Arcos, Belo Horizonte, 3 Corações, Bambuí, Fronteira, Iguatama, Itapagipe (SÃO PAULO: Colômbia). GRANDE DO SUL: Teutônia, Bom Retiro, Lajeado), (COLOMBIA), UGANDA, SOUTH AFRICA, ETHIOPIA (AFRICA).

* The icon of Jiu-Jitsu and legendary multi-champion Marcelo Garcia began training Jiu-Jitsu and Judo at the Golden Eagle Academy of Formiga, where he stayed until the blue belt, when he became World Champion in the category, after which he moved to Poços de Caldas-MG and São Paulo.
